This year, 2011, we as a Nation, will be celebrating the 400th anniversary of the publication of the King James Version of the Bible. A diverse range of events has been planned to mark the event. It is exciting to see the Bible taking  centre stage, albeit briefly

66: A Portrait of The BOOK‘ will mark the anniversary in a creative fashion. An exhibition of sixty six images will depict or illustrate a principle theme or narrative from each of the 66 books of the Bible. Alongside each image will be a key extract from each book using the KJV text. The combination of word and image will provide an intriguing and contemporary presentation of the Bible that will provoke viewers to reflect and question.

We hope that churches and schools will use it as pertinent ‘tool’ for illustrating the Bible.
